As part of the Adventurous Activities, Map and Compass, and Expedition Skills units, students will undertake expedition training and mountain biking throughout the year in the New Forest area and actively participate in two Adventurous Activity days at Calshot Activities Centre. 

The Calshot Activity days will involve practical sessions on Sailing or kayaking, Indoor Climbing, Abseiling and Skiing. The expedition training and assessment will be carried out in the local area and supervised by qualified College staff. 

Participation in thes eactivities is essential for students to pass the practical components of the BTEC Level 2 Teamwork Units 5, 6 & 7.

Payment can either be made in full or in 2x instalments. Where paying through instalments, an initial payment of £62 is requested no later than Sunday 02 November 2025 with the remaining balance paid by Monday 01 December 2025.
