As part of the Outdoor Activities unit and Citizenship and Diversity unit, students will be required to visit Salisbury Cathedral and actively participate in mountain biking and two Adventurous Activity days at Calshot Activities Centre. Students will also participate in some expedition training in preparation for an expedition in Y2.
The Calshot Activity days will involve practical sessions on Sailing or Kayaking, Indoor Climbing, Abseiling and Skiing. The expedition training and mountain biking will be carried out in the local area and supervised by qualified College staff.
Participation in these activities is essential for students to pass the practical components of the BTEC L3 UPS course.
Payment can either be made in full or in 2x instalments. Where paying through instalments, an initial payment of £50 is requested no later than Sunday 02 November 2025 with the remaining balance paid by Monday 01 December 2025.
